(Gavel-Debate) Whatsapp chat between Mr Valles and Vishal on Welcome session

Date: 18th January 2019 Whatsapp Chat Mr Valles: Hi Vishal how did session go today? Vishal: During the welcome session for the first Gavel-Debate club, the juniors had fun playing games and enjoying themselves. The members played games such as secret hitler, mafia and other games that involve speaking. Moreover, Deepankur contributed a lot in helping out in the moderation of the games. We are very pleased with Deepankur's contribution. Vishal: Furthermore, the instagram post we posted regarding the welcome session received a lot of traction and there are numerous positive comments on the post. Mr Valles:  Ok! That is good!

(NCC) Welcome Session

[18:18 AM, 8/1/2019] Wong Kluck Mei: Hi Mr Lee, the first session (the welcome session from the new members) went well, they played Capture the Flag and Laser Tag. [11:18 AM, 8/1/2019] Wong Kluck Mei: Some drama club kids and dance club kids wanted to join, so I let them play since we had extra equipment. They seem to want to transfer CCAs, I have asked them to approach you to have the necessary forms signed so that they can transfer.

From: Mckanzie Tan To: Gavel-Debate ExCo Subject: Fight rumours with rumours Hey everyone! There have been many rumours such as those seen in NUSHfessions that have made our CCA look bad. I want you all to start spreading rumours about them to ensure we do not lose face. Start writing posts on NUSHfessions and tell your friends how bad NCC is! Lots of love, Mckanzie Tan"

(Both) NUSHfessions post

There is a NUSHfessions post saying "I initially got into Gavel-Debate but NCC seems so much fun". The comments mostly agree with this statement with the top liked comment being "Gavel-Debate is for boring nerds while NCC is for fun times lmao" by a Y1 Junior.
